I am very privileged to have been elected The President of Skal Club Nairobi. Our club is made up of 130 very committed members. During my tenure as President, I would like to grow our membership and also to re-launch Young Skal.
Our club has been and continues to support the less fortunate in our society. See the Photo gallery for pictures of remarkable children we visited and the Nairobi women hospital. Year 2009 has been a very difficult one for our tourism industry. The positive involvement of our government and stake holders is helping in turning things around.
I would like to appeal to our Skallegues worldwide to help us by sending your clients to our beautiful country. With the effort and commitment devoted to SKAL from each and every one of us, I have no doubt that we shall achieve even greater success in the years to come. I look forward to sharing this success with all of you. Let us, therefore, continue doing "business amongst friends". I wish you all a wealth of success for the rest of the year.
SKAL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DAVID FISHER, PRESIDENT SKAL INTERNATIONAL NAIROBI
